Summer Intern Program
Here is an amazing opportunity to get involved with The Cookbook Project in College and Beyond -
As a Summer Intern you will train online to lead your own Cookbook Project Program wherever you happen to be. As part of the program you will also conduct an independent food advocacy research project.
The online training program will give you the skills and support necessary to implement a Health Education Program curriculum that uses food culture and cooking to connect youth to the topics of nutrition, health, and the environment. While the curriculum has been designed for youth ages 12-18, the open-platform design of the program allows it to be successfully adapted to both younger and older audiences.
The Summer Intern Program is based on the experiential education curriculum designed by The Cookbook Project that centers around 7 different modules with associated learning areas that support US National Learning Standards.
These modules include:

You will also gain experience in the following areas:
- Fundraising
- Strategic planning
- Project development, management and implementation
- A realistic look into the non-profit sector
