Programs
As a grassroots organization, The Cookbook Project works with individuals and groups aligned with our mission to facilitate workshops and trainings focused on the connection between food, health, and the environment. Through various programs we provide capacity building trainings and inspirational community development opportunities.
The Local Leaders Program trains volunteers around the world to lead Cookbook Project workshops and curriculum in conjunction with youth organizations and schools.
The Summer Intern Program provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students interested in food justice, slow food, nutrition, and youth education to plan, coordinate, and carry-out their own Cookbook Project workshop in conjunction with relevant research.
The International Immersion Program allows adventurous individuals and groups of all ages to come together to learn about food justice and slow food, train as local leaders, and have the experience of facilitating a Cookbook Project workshop within an international context.
